reviews the songs taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest. Today we
bring you the 40th Eurovision Fan Review for the 2015 contest.
The person who will be reviewing the next song in the Eurovision 2015 fan reviews is Victor from Spain. Victor will be reviewing Montenegro's entry "Adio" by Knez.
You can read what Victor thinks of Montenegro's entry below!
1. Hello Victor, thank you for agreeing to this. How long have you been a Eurovision fan?
Victor: I first watched the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 and I think I've been a fan ever since. However, I got more into it in 2013 when I watched the national finals from many countries and I got more active on the ESC fandom on the internet.
2. This year Knez will be representing Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest. What was your reation when you heard he would be representing Montenegro?
Victor: Well at first I didn't expect much from him because I searched for songs by him, but then since I heard Zeljko Joksimovic would write the song, I became more confident he could do great.
3. The song Knez will be performing is "Adio". What is your opinion of the song?
Victor: Since I first heard it, I love this song! I am a big fan of the Balkan ballads and this is a great one, and he's a great performer as I've seen from his live performances.
4. How would you compare "Adio" to recent Eurovision entries from Montenegro?
Victor: I think we can obviously compare it more to their song last year, since they are both Balkan ballads, and very lovely in my opinion. I think that, since 2013, Montenegro has been sending their best Eurovision entries and they are getting better every year, I hope for a result according to this evolution.
5. As we know Montenegro will be performing 4th in the second semi-final of Eurovision 2015. Do you think this is a good place for them to perform?
Victor: Well, I don't believe in some places being better than others, I think that what's more important is that he delivers a convincing performance. Maybe the 4th place seems a bit weak because it's very much at the beginning of the show, but I'm sure he can even take advantage of that.
6. Where do you think Montenegro will place overall in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015?
Victor: Well it's really difficult to say because you never know with this country... If it was Serbia or Bosnia, I'd say top 10 for definite, but since it's Montenegro I think he'll place somewhere between the 15th and the 20th place. I hope to be wrong though!
7. Finally, what are you most looking forward to about Eurovision 2015?
Victor: Of course I'm most excited about knowing who the winner will be! I also expect to see a very entertaining show, and to enjoy a lot with the music, since we have 27 songs for the first time! My favourites are Italy and Belgium so I hope one of those will win!
