Last
year we started the Eurovision Fan Reviews, where you the readers
review the songs taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest. And today
we bring you the seventh Eurovision Fan Review for the 2015 contest!
The person who we will be reviewing the next song in the 2015 fan reviews is Dezyree Bernardin from the United States. She will be reviewing the Georgia Eurovision entry "Warrior" by Nina Sublatti.
You can check out what she has to say about the entry below.
1. Hello Dez, thank you for agreeing to this, how long have you been a Eurovision fan for?
Dezyree: Thank you. I became a fan just before the contest in 2009 after coming across while searching for new music. This will be my 7th contest (and 6th year following the national selections).
2. This year Georgia selected their Eurovision entry through a national selection. Did you watch the selection? If so what where some of your favourite moments?
Dezyree: I'm going to admit, I actually did! All 40 minutes of it, so it was very short with few memorable moments, but I do remember Nina winning the whole thing, so I'm very happy with Georgia's choice.
3. Nina Sublatti will be representing Georgia with the song "Warrior", What do you think of Nina's song?
Dezyree: I love it! It was my number 1 for a long time until the last songs came out, even now it's still in my top 5.
4. How would you compare "Warrior" to recent Eurovision entries from Georgia?
Dezyree: Compared to the recent Georgian entries, I think this is the best entry Georgia has ever sent, even over taking my favorite of them all, which was Georgia 2007
5. As we know Georgia will be performing 16th in the first semi-final. Do you think this is a good place for them to perform?
Dezyree: Of course! Nina's good to go. She's after Romania, which is another of my favorites, but there's no one after her, so it'll be fresh on the viewer's minds after the song ends.
6. Where do you think Georgia will place overall in this years contest?
Dezyree: Overall, I think Georgia might have a shot at top 15, though I would be very happy if she places in the top 10.
7. Finally, what are you most looking foward to about this years Eurovision Song Contest?
Dezyree: I just want my entire top 5 to do well, since I am in love with it, but more importantly, I'm looking forward to ORF's productions.
