Last
year we started the Eurovision Fan Reviews, where you the readers
review the songs taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest. And today
we bring you the 10th Eurovision Fan Review for the 2015 contest!
The person who we will be reviewing the next song in the 2015 fan reviews is Chloe from United Kingdom. She will be reviewing the Cyprus Eurovision entry "One Thing I Should Have Done" by John Karayiannis.
You can check out what she has to say about the entry below.
1. Hello Chloe, thanks for agreeing to this, how long have you been a Eurovision fan for?
Chloe: No problem! I've been a Eurovision Fan since around 2009.. I was pretty young when I discovered it and it was became of my mum watching it!
2. This year Cyprus decided their Eurovision entry through the selection Eurovision Song Project. Did you watch the show? If you did, what were some of your favourite moments?
Chloe: I watched the show, and all the intervals' they had. It was so much fun to watch the show and have no idea what they were saying!
3. As we know John Karayiannis was selected to represent Cyprus at Eurovision 2015. What was your reaction when you heard he had been selected?
Chloe: I didn't really like the song, going into the song and even after he was selected. I was kind of annoyed but I'm liking him now.
4. The song John will be performing at this years contest is "One Thing I Should Have Done". What do you think of the song?
Chloe: Its sort of too slow for my liking, I've grown to like it a little bit, but I like so many songs this year, that's it's hard to say were in my top I would place it.
5. How would you compare "One Thing I Should Have Done" to recent Eurovision entries from Cyprus?
Chloe: I think comparing it to 2012 & 2013, its my second favorite but it could be another 2013 for Cyprus. beautiful ballad, but gets forgotten, I think its kind of weak. 2012 was defiantly one of Cyprus's best years.
6. Cyprus will be performing 15th in the second semi-final, do you think this is a good place for them to perform?
Chloe: Could be, depends on alot of things e.g: staging etc.. but it could be as I thought forgotten if the staging is to boring or its might be one to watch.
7. Finally, what are you most looking foward to about this years contest?
Chloe: Everything! The songs, the semi's, the final. Im looking forward to see how Vienna will host the show. It looks like this could be a great year for the contest!
