The person who we will be reviewing the next song in the 2015 fan reviews is Danyal from the United Kingdom. He will be reviewing Switzerland's Eurovision entry "Time To Shine" by Mélanie René.
You can read what he has to say to us below!
1. Hello Danyal, thanks for agreeing to this. How long have you been a Eurovision fan?
Danyal: Hello Jess, it's great to be back for another fan review. I've been watching Eurovision causally from 2008 but only really started following it closely from 2012.
2. This year Switzerland selected their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest, through ESC 2015 – Die Entscheidungsshow. Did you watch the show? If so, what were some of your favourite moments?
Danyal: Yes I did watch Die Entscheidungsshow. It was a great national final. Probably my most favourite moment was when the contestants did the covers, especially Mélanie's version of Chandelier by Sia.
3. As we know Mélanie René was selected to represent Switzerland with the song "Time To Shine". What is your opinion of the song?
Danyal: I think this a unpopular opinion but I LOVE it. Mélanie's voice is amazing, it's so powerful. I also really like the message of the song.
4. How would you compare "Time To Shine" to recent Eurovision entries from Switzerland?
Danyal: I would definitely say that this is quite different to what Switzerland sends especially in recent history. Normally they send quite weird and quirky songs but they've opted for a good old power ballad this time.
5. Switzerland will be performing 14th in the second semi-final of Eurovision 2015. Do you think this is a good place for them to perform?
Danyal: I think Switzerland are very lucky with this position. They'll be performing almost right at the end meaning they won't be forgotten by the juries and televoters.
6. Where do you think Switzerland will place overall in this years contest?
Danyal: It really depends on the vocals during the big night. I think she'll really impress the juries and hopefully she should qualify. With a good running order i think she my be able to pull of a 11th-15th position.
7. Finally, what are you most looking forward to about this years Eurovision Song Contest?
Danyal: I'm really looking forward to see how Austria are able to pull of the show and how well the production will be. I'm also very intrigued to see how well both Australia and the United Kingdom do!logy.
