Hello!
You may remember a few months ago ESC-Starz asked you guys to review entries for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 (If you have not seen them you can click here) and now we have decided to bring the fan reviews back but this time for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014!
For are first JESC fan review we will be bringing you the review for Malta's Junior Eurovision 2014 entry Federica Falzon and her song "Diamonds".
The person who is reviewing Bulgaria's entry is Shaun. Read what he has to say below!
1. Hello Shaun, thanks for agreeing to this, how long have you been a fan of Junior Eurovision?
Shaun: Hello Jessica! I have been following JESC since around 2008 when Malta placed 4th with Daniel Testa's 'Junior Swing' . I must admit though that I only watch the show on the big night and not follow all the details throughout JESC season. All changed last year however, when Gaia won for our Islands! My interest grew alot and have been following this year's edition pretty closely!
2. Now, i know that you are from Malta so i would like to ask, what was it like seeing Malta win the contest last year?
Shaun: To be honest with you, I was a bit speechless. I knew Malta was one of the favorites together with some other countries but I never thought we would actually win! Gaia sure made us proud! ^ ^
3. This year Federica Falzon will be representing Malta, what do you think of her voice?
Shaun: I think Federica is blessed with such an angelic voice. She will clearly stand out while performing next month.
4. The song Federica will be singing is "Diamonds", what do you think of her song?
Shaun: I loved the song from the moment I heard it. It has alot of emotions and the lyrics really fit the theme of this year's JESC slogan #together.
5. Now, where do you think Malta will finish in this years contest?
Shaun: I am not a biased person at all, but I truly believe that Malta can actually win for a second time in a row! I am quite sure that Federica will be giving her utmost best while performing on stage. Malta will surely be proud, despite the placing she gets :)
6. Finally, what are you most looking foward to about this years contest?
Shaun: Personally, this is the first time I will be present to a JESC contest live so I am definitely be looking forward to supporting Federica on the big night! I am also very looking forward to meet lots of other JESC fans from all over Europe, cheering for my favourites and enjoying the show! :)
