Hello!
You may remember a few months ago ESC-Starz asked you guys to review entries for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 (If you have not seen them you can click here) and now we have decided to bring the fan reviews back but this time for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014!
For are first JESC fan review we will be bringing you the review for Russia's Junior Eurovision 2014 entry Alisa Kozhikina and her song "Dreamer".
The person who will be reviewing Russia's entry is Amanda Noon! Read what she said below!
1. Hi Amanda, thanks for agreeing to this, How long have you been a fan of Junior Eurovision?
Amanda: I would say since 2012, so I’m pretty late into the game!
2. This year Alisa Kozhikina will be representing Russia, what do you think of her voice?
Amanda: At first listen, she sounded similar to last year’s winner. However, as the song went on, her distinctive sound came out, and she sounds gorgeous!
3. The song Alisa will be singing is "Dreamer", what do you think of the song?
Amanda: It seems like a typical ballad, but it’s composed and performed very well. I would say that it’s even better than last year’s winner!
4. Can i ask where do you think Russia will place overall in this years contest?
Amanda: I think it will depend on the running order. While her song is a strong one, it stands a possibility of being overshadowed by other, more upbeat songs if placed too early. I predict a top 5 ranking.
5. Finally, What are you most looking foward to about Junior Eurovision 2014?
Amanda: All of the new and returning countries! I’m so glad this year is bigger than the last few.
