Portugal return to Eurovision after a one year break with wonderful singer Suzy, who will represent Portugal with the song "Quero Ser Tua".
Read what Jack said to us below!
1. Hi Jack! Thanks for agreeing to do this! How long have you been a Eurovision fan?
Jack: It's a pleasure! I have been a Eurovision fan since 2007. I remember watching the 2007 contest - and I fell in love with Eurovision that night. It's been a massive part of my life ever since.
2. This year Portugal returned to Eurovision after a one year break, how did you feel when you heard that Portugal where returning?
Jack: I was delighted when I heard that Portugal would return. Portugal normally provide us with fantastic entries!
3. This year Portugal decided their entry through Festival da Canção 2014, Did you watch the selection? If you did what where your highlights?
Jack: I didn't watch the semi-final but I watched the final. Catarina Pereira was my favourite - and I was really gutted when she didn't win.
4. As we know Suzy was chosen to represent Portugal this year, What do you think of her vocals?
Jack: Her vocals in the national final were okay although they were much better in Amsterdam. I remember watching her performance from the Eurovision In Concert event and I was really impressed with how great her voice was.
5. The song Suzy will be singing is "Quero ser tua", What do you think of the song?
Jack: It's a very catchy song! I remember watching the Portuguese national final and I kept singing the chorus to myself all night. I also thought the performance was great, too. It suited the song.
6. Portugal will be performing 13th in semi final one, Do you think this is a great place for them to perform?
Jack: Portugal are drawn between San Marino and The Netherlands. Both of these songs are calm and sophisticated - whereas the Portuguese entry is wacky. It will defiantly stick out among the slower numbers... I believe the running order will benefit Portugal.
7. Could you tell us where you think Portugal will place overall in Eurovision 2014?
Jack: I think Portugal are a borderline qualifier. If they do happen to make the final, I'd expect them to be bottom five. I don't think the juries will like this very much
8. Finally, what are you most looknig foward to about Eurovision 2014?
Jack: I'm looking forward to a superb show with amazing performances. And of-course I'm looking forward to the whole of Europe coming together for one night, all for music. That's why Eurovision is so special.
