Hello!
A few weeks ago we launched a new feature that ment we interview someone from each country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 & ask their review on their countries entry!
Today we are interviewing Ninni Oksanen about Hungary's 2014 entry!
Ninni is a massive Eurovision fan from Finland! We sent Ninni a few questions about Hungary's entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 and she has kindly answered them for us!
Hungary's entry in Eurovision 2014 is András Kállay-Saunders a American/Hungarian singer who will perform the song "Running" in the first semi off Eurovision 2014. Read what Ninni said to us below!
1. Hiya Ninni! Thanks for agreeing to do this! How long have you been a Eurovision fan?
Ninni: Hi! :) I watched Eurovision for the first time in 2006 and it was a perfect to year to start watching, because my country won! :D I became a bigger fan when Dima Bilan won in 2008.
2. This year Hungary decided their entry through A DAL 2014, Did you watch the show? If you did what where your highlights?
Ninni: I did! I loved most of the songs, it was the best NF this year in my opinion. The highlight was of course when Kállay won, he was my favorite.
3. The singer representing Hungary this year is Kállay Saunders, What do you think of his vocals?
Ninni: He is an incredible singer, his vocals are very good.
4. The song Kállay will be singing is "Running", What do you think about the song?
Ninni: It is my favorite this year. It is great that it's not a typical love song, it has an important message.
5. How would you compare "Running" to recent Hungary Eurovision entries?
Ninni: Hungary is one of my favorite countries in Eurovision and I always enjoy their entries. Of course, Kedvesem was very Hungarian and Running is more American style but it's good to send different songs to Eurovision.
6. This year Hungary has become one of the favourites to win Eurovision, Do you think this song could win?
Ninni: Yes. I really hope they will win, I have already planned a trip to Budapest.. Haha!
7. Finally, what are most looking forward to about Eurovision 2014?
Ninni: The performances of my favorites and of course to see who wins. :)
